12oz bottle pours out crisp clean straw topped with a white head. Nose is cereal grain grassy hops. Taste is more of the sweet cereal grain malts and some light fresh cut grass.

12 oz bottle from Brewers Haven. Bright golden pour, fowmy head fades to flat, lazy carbonation. Sweet grainy aroma, corn, adjuncts. Taste is also sweet, more grains, cereal. A light bitterness at the finish degenerates into a light metallic, acidic tingle.

4/3/2020. Bottle at Damigiana, Paris. Pours clear golden with a small foamy white head. Aroma is grainy, corny, grassy and fruity. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body. Metallic finish. Not great.

Donkergeel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en ietwat kruidig met iets van graan en wat zoet fruit. Niet onaardig.

Das Rote aus den Dolomiten ist ein Klassiker in/aus Italien, das primär durch eine malzige Süße in Erinnerung bleibt. Es ist ein wenig chemisch-süß, aber es passt schon so. Es mag keine große Spezialität sein, aber so schlimm ist es auch nicht. Ich bereue den Kauf nicht (wobei ich glaube, das es sich um ein Mitbringsel handelt), aber extra nachbestellen würde ich es mir nicht.
