Bottle @ Gastropub Kleipeda, Kiev. Hazy rich yellow with medium sized foamy off-white head, doughy aroma, low carbonation, sweetish malty taste, full body, abrupt finish with malt aftertaste. Quite nice.

Flaske 1000ml anskaffet av djoeye og delt med ham og Rune på pauserommet 27 Aug 14. Sving-topp-flaske med litt futt. Uvanlig flaskeform. Gylden på farge. Uklar. Aroma av karamell & brød. Smaken er honning & urter.

1000ml bottle kindly shared by djoeye. Fair creamy white head to a hazy golden coloured body. Herbal hops and brown malts on the nose. Mid-sweet flavours of herbs, bread and honey. Drying ending. Medium bodied Interesting and drinkable (Bokhuset with Finn and djoeye, Tromsø 10.09.2014).

Cloudy amber beer. Palate is fairly dry and crispy. Mildly spicy malt with a subtle banana ester. Unfortunately also soapy things. Minerals and subtle citrus. Finishes crisp. The soap really detracts.

Smalls a bit unusual for a beer, but pleasant: bread and barnyard (straw). Pours orange, cloudy with minimal head that quickly disappears. Bitterness is low, but pleasant, beer is lightly sweet, with notes of black rye bread. Medium body, flat carbonation. Definitely not for hop-heads, but for me it’s really ok due to the unusual "countryside" aromas - not the best Lithuanian beer, but really decent. 50cl bottle.

Piwo z żyta, niepasteryzowane i niefiltrowane. Bardzo świeże i pachnące zbożami. Mętne i to bardzo, nieprzejrzyste, a w odcieniu pomarańczowym. Jedyny minus to szybko znikająca piana.

Bottle purchased from Rasputin Food and Wine, Ipswich, UK (sold as ’Ukrainian live beer’). On opening bottle, beer smelt off, poured a very cloudy orange, aroma OK on pouring. However taste was delighful and proved to be a most enjoyable, drinkable beer
