Murky golden color, much darker than a normal weissbier, especially as it is labelled as a "hell". Head fades fast to skin on bier, flavor leaning heavily on the banana overtones. Cloudy, but bier darkness adds color confusion. Thick , oily mouthfeel, with slight tang on the tongue. Nice entry into the lineup, but almost halfway to a dunkel weiss...

Bottle @ Odense Summer Tasting, 2011. Pours cloudy golden with a creamy white head and lacings. Nose is wheat and grain. A bit of paper and banana.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, golden beer topped by a small, off-white head. Buttery aroma with some fruity hops. Hints of grass. The flavor is way too buttery, some fruity notes and grains blends in, a little bit of bitterness too, but far from enough. Medium body. Buttery finish. How much butterscotch can a brewer put into his beer? Hopefully not much more than in this one. 110128

Bottle 330ml. @ home.Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, light cereal, herbal! light hoppy, grass, grren grass - silage. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, oxidide notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is metalic. [20110317]
