Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm consumed at home Sunday 2nd April 2023, about to cook Biryani with Stuffed Morels, will listen to Billy Nomates - Cacti. First time that I've ever seen this locally, I understand that it's from the sadly defunct brewery from Pfaffenhofen which still stands close to the other brewery in town, but brewed now at Hofbrauhas Freising. Pours clear light gold with a white head, a little bit plain, simple and uninteresting, light maltiness, a touch thin and watery, not my thing.

Bottled (from web-bier.de). Yellowish golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is citrus, some grains, mild floral and some herbal tones. Flavour is citrus, some grains and mild herbs.

31-12-20 // Blindbiertasting: Winterbiere - 500ml bottle. Clear darker golden. Small white head, more quickly fading, leaving bubbles. Nose of light caramel sweetness. Aroma light to medium malt sweetness. Mild caramel. Low bitterness.

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Malty-dry aroma. Starts strong, malty, light alcoholic. Some woody-spicy notes. Finish well balanced with a soft alcoholic touch. Not bad.

500ml bottle: BB 4th Jun 2021. Drank at home on 9th Oct 2020. 50% Vollbier, 50% Lemonade. Clear and clean light golden body, short lived white crown. Citrus and grainy feel to the taste and semi-sweet flavour, aroma also lemon like with a grainy air. I thought it fine, it doesn't pretend to be anything else, and it's a decent thirst quencher.

Bottle. Dark brown color. malt, plums, even a bit of porto in the rich aroma. Malty sweet flavor with hints of roasted malt and dried fruit. Full bodied, like fluid cake. Notes of porto. Excellent doppelbock!
