Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines. Clear runny honey gold. Very sturdy white foam. Nose has malts on the sweeter side. Bit of cereal. Some damp hay. Hops come across grassy leafy and softly herbal. Good drinkability with nice bitterness and some background sweetness. Turns more bitter on the finish. Nice Helles.

Clear gold with a perfect white frothy head. Pale malt, pleasant fruitiness, spicy & herbal noble hop, light candy. Medium dry. Light to medium hop bitterness. Decent stuff.

Thanks a lot to Erzengel for this 0,5 l bottle. One year above BB. I don´t care. Clear golden in the glass with a more than one finger white foamy head. Caramel und smooth grainy aroma. Tastes the same, some apple fruity elements like a Zwickl, soft bitterness. Below average carbonated. Still drinkable.

"Urbanus Premium Hell", Flasche von Getränke Orterer, PAF, 18.5.2025. - Im Urlaub bin ich kürzlich noch am Brauhaus Pfaffenhofen vorbeigelaufen, das leider seit 2018 außer Betrieb ist, aber so gepflegt wirkt, als könne dort jederzeit wieder gebraut werden. Meine Flasche nennt allerdings das Gräfliche Hofbrauhaus Freising als Hersteller. - Helles Goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase eher billig wirkende, matt zitronige Hopfung. - Antrunk blaß hellmalzig und leicht limonadenähnlich zitronig gehopft. Dünner Malzkörper, mäßige Restsüße, zarte muffige Note. Durchschnittlich rezent. Im Abgang milde Herbe. - Saft- und kraftloses Lohnbier, zwar noch trinkbar aber ohne jeden Genußfaktor.

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Thursday 9th January 2025 listening to Huw Stephens on 6Music it's Round Table later, I'm cooking a Chilli con Carne. Pours reddish brown colour with a large off white head. Malty with nice toffee overtones. Classic Bock, ticks all the right boxes, nice chewy caramel and toffee, good, it's really nice.
