* Old rating. Many thanks to kevnic2008 for this 0,5l bottle. Best before 04.11.10. Mild-süßliches Pils. Herbe Töne im Nachgeschmack, leicht getreidig-süßlich. Nett.

* Old rating. Best before 16.06.11. Neutral-süßlicher Bock, nicht sonderlich herb, nicht wirklich tief.

Bottle. Hazy golden, creamy offwhite head. Metallic grassy hop nose, minerals. Medium light body, mealy mouthfeel, a bit muddled malt, grassy slightly uninspired hops, quick salty finish. A bit too neutral for my taste.

Süßer, laff würziger Antrunk. Hell malzig, wenig hopfig. Geringfügig alkoholisch, hell würzig bleibend. OK. 9/11/8/8/9/8

Süßlich herber, dezent malziger Antrunk. Etwas intensiver im Mittelteil, vor allem die Süße bleibt bestehen. Die Malzigkeit bleibt hell, angenehm würzig, süffig. Ok. 11/9/10/9/8/9

Bamberg Jolly Day 3 26/01/2014. Draught at the brewpub in Freising. Clear dark mahogany brown colour with a big cream head that fades. Aroma is soft roast, mineral, with a hint of clove. Some yeast esters. Flavour is semi-sweet caramel, soft roast, some mineral. Palate is too sweet and lacking in crispness.

Bottle: Golden to deep golden, hazy, smaller persistent white head; mild to moderate sweet grainy-malty and fruity-yeasty nose , some very delicate hoppy bitterness still detectable; mild sweetish-bitter flavour, pretty soft and nearly medium-bodied; light sweetish - still lingering - grainy-bitter finish with - as expected - yeasty traces in the very end. Unspectacular, but well drinkable…

Amber-Brown in the glass. The beer starts smooth and malty. Fresh and dark with hints of plums, dark fruit and malt. The mainpart is probably a bit thin, slightly bitter, malty and smooth. In the aftertaste smooth-malty, fresh, slightly bitter and fruity. A nice beer, but probably a bit thin in the body. --> 10/12/11/12
