Bottle. Deep golden, low carbonation, frothy lacing off-white head. Bready malt and aromatic sweet hops. Flavorwise a bit on the stale dusty side, but plenty of chewyness. sweet finish. Mellow mouthfeel.

Bottle: Reddish-amber coloured, lacing off-white head; stronger fruity (oranges, orange-peel) nose, combined with sweet malt and some molecular hops floating around; sweet flavour, medium bodied; stronger sweet-orangey-malty finish with a tinge of cinnamon (?). A sweet-fruity brew, well suitable for X-mas, instead of the horrible Glühwein.............

(bottle) Clear, brown colour with a mid-sized foamy off-white head. Sweet roasted malt aroma with a raisin-fruity tinge. Sweet flavour, full bodied, moderate carbonation. Fat malty taste, light roasted notes and raisins; a bit sticky, sweet malty finish with the alcohol well-integrated. Okay, but too sweet.

Bottle (many thanks to joss !!): Clear chestnut-amber coloured, small lacing off-white foam; sweetish dark-malty, a bit fruity nose; moderate sweet and light bitter flavour; a bit sugary, malty finish with some faint bitter edges. O.K., quite a restrained Bock.........

Clear chestnut, good carbonisation with lazy bubbles; slim off-white head. Slight bread, slight alcohol, slight nuts - everything’s there in the nose, but all subdued. Sweet-bread taste, lots of sweet malts. I detect some Maillard in this one (breadcrust). Well bodied, slightly slick mouthfeel. OK - a middle-of-the-road Doppelbock. Everything one’s entitled to, no extras. Just a bit too sweet IMO.

Neutral nose, very light honeyish malt notes. Pale golden, low carbonation, big lacing creamy head. Malt base, gunpowder notes. hops well hidden. Medium body, flat dusty aftertaste. Very boring Helles.

Pretty neutral aroma - grass with a tendecy toward vegetables. Straw golden, light carbonation, low head. Watery thin body, oily hops bitter exit. Fizzing mouthfeel, fat aftertaste. Bottle was fresh enough: Boring pils.

Very slight hayish malt aroma. Golden amber, not much visible carbonation, ceamy, lacing low head. Sugary sweet malt base, bready notes, a bit ethanol. Fullbodied, light dry finish. Rather boring.

Bubblegum and hay aroma. Golden, low on carbonation, lacing creamy white head. Fruity (banana) malt with some artificial (bubblegum) and buttery overtones. Fatty mouthfeel, slight dry finish, hayish aftertaste. Allthough I in general like a Helles with a clear hop aspect better I found this fruity malty one quite interresting.
