Light chestnut brown. Toasty malt aroma. Full body...malty with light toffee. Some earthy, bready accents. Slightly husky towards the finish, though.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of MoritzF. Clear, dark amber golden with a rough, off-white head. Fat aroma of caramel and roasted malts. Very full-bodied with sweetish, roasted malt acents - almost vinous. The finish is sweet. Fluid candy! 290607

Bottled. A brown beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of ryebread, caramel, and brown sugar accompanied by light notes of fruit. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of ryebread and caramel, leading to a dry end which also has light notes of toasted bread.

Bottle. Red chestnut, off-white creamy head. Sweet fruity aroma. Berrylike base, earthy notes, some caramel, herbal minerally hop note towards the finish which carries the malt home. Medium body, sparkly mouthfeel. Nice.

(33cl bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a short, non-persistent frothy white head. Light-sweet, slightly skunky malty nose with faint grassy hops. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium body with a medium carbonation. Herbal, slightly grassy hoppy taste on a soft malty base; moderately dry and bitter finish. The name of the beer is absurd.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a non-persistent foamy white medium head. Shy aroma: slightly sweet malty with cirousy hops. Light-bitter flavour, medium to light bodied, crispy carbonation. Balanced malty and herbal hoppy taste, very light notes of honey; moderately dry, light-bitter finish with a faint hoppy touch. Clean, but a bit boring.

Bottle (by kind permission of joss !): Clear, medium-sized slowly collapsing white head; grassy hoppy nose with a touch of vegetables; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied; traces of sweet malt in the mild bitter finish. Drinkable, but disappointing.........
