Ik zit in m’n zware mout fase denk ik. Bevalt weer goed.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Fine roasty-malty aroma. Starts fine malty-roasty, not too dry. Some light fruity notes, plum, some raisins. Finish well balanced, dry-malty, again some fruity notes. Interesting!

Fles gekregen van BartvG, het is een amber kleurig bier met een mooie volle schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van mandarijn en pruimen. De smaak is fruitig, pruim, mandarijn en kers, met een bittertje in de afdronk.

Bottle from the Jumbo City, Den Haag. Poured a slightly hazy medium to light amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and a little broken lace. The aroma is malt, a little yeasty, zesty tropical citrus, light floral. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, light, fruity, mineral, light pepper spice, dry hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle from Albert Heijn. Poured a clear golden colour with a short-lived frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is grainy malt, mineral, zesty citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a crisp, fresh, slightly watery, juicy lemon/lime citrus, dry hop bitter palate. Medum to light bodied with average carbonation. Plenty going on, but too light and watery. Need to up the malt bill.

Hmmm, label is a little different but seems to be the same beer. Light haze on this amber beer, small pale tan head. Smooth light semi dry palate, decent fine carbonation, quite a nip. The smooth light caramel malts bring a salty caramel vibe. Ripe fruits, ripe citric peel. Plenty of spice. Light dry finish. Rich and with some depth but quite spicy:

Lichtbruin bier met stevige schuimkraag. Smaak is bitter hoppig en fruitig met iets van zwarte thee, mango en ananas. OK.
