Description
Two Roads Brewing Company was founded in 2012 by four friends who dreamed for years of starting a craft brewery. We foster a “road less traveled” philosophy in the beers we make and how we make them. In that spirit, Phil Markowski, our award-winning Brewmaster and 27 year craft beer veteran has created an extensive lineup that takes a unique twist on classic beer styles. Two Roads was named one of the ten best breweries in America by Paste Magazine and has won many awards including gold for Belgian Lambic style Ale in 2016 at the Great American Beer Festival.

Two Roads isn’t just the logo on our brewery building, it’s our philosophy. Life always seems to offer up two ways to go. It just so happens, we prefer the one less taken and having some fun along the way – in our lives, our careers and especially for our beers! Now our “road less traveled” philosophy is being brought to life in the beers that we create and how we create them.

Location: 22 oz bottle, Oak Tree, Groton, 7/13/13

Aroma: Nose is sweet and malty, caramel, and some citrus
Appearance: The pour is clear orange with a frothy beige head and lots of lace
Flavor: The taste is a heavy malty, a little sweet, mid bitterness
Palate: The body is medium-full, soft, sticky feel
Overall Impression: This one was not really a favorite for me. A little too malty and sweet, and just not an above average example of the style.

Draft at the source. Clear golden amber color. Aroma of grapefruit. Taste is sweet fruit with decent balance, not overly bitter. Dry finish.

Draft at the source. Hazy golden amber color, thick white head, solid lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit and citrus. Taste is citrus and summer fruit, peppery finish. Nice.

Gravity cask at the source. Hazy pale tellow color. Aroma of subtle pepper, straw. Peppers are gentle in the taste also, entering at the finish. Subtle.

On tap at ACBF 6/1/2013 Clear light golden color. Sweet corn and bourbon flavor with a solid shot of alcohol warmth. Decent brew, a little different but I enjoyed it.

On tap at ACBF 6/1/2013 Thanks to the kind brewery girl who shared this with us while waiting in line. Huge oaky bourbon atop roasty earth and chocolate. Great brew!
