Friedmann Festbier, Flasche von REWE Wittmann, Neunkirchen a.Br. - Kupfergoldrot, klar. - In der Nase würzig erdig-toastiges Malz, zarte fruchtige Säure, milde aber elegante hopfenwürzige Herbe. - Antrunk kernig und doch weich toastmalzig mit eleganter Karamelsüße und feiner Zitrusfrucht, zarte Anklänge an reife Banane. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang schön toastig-zitrusfruchtig und zart erdig, nicht allzu herb. - Schönes Festbier fränkischer Art, etwas schlanker und aromatischer gehopft. (1.12.2019.)

Ritter Wirnt Trunk, Flasche aus dem Königsteiner Getränkemarkt (OPf.). - Was sich hier so harmlos fränkisches Landbier nennt, ist mit seinen 5,6 % schon ein veritables Märzen und eignet sich damit für eine kleine Oktoberfest-Nachfeier daheim ... - Dunkel kastanienrot, schwach trüb. - In der Nase milde orangenfruchtig-herbale Herbe und zartes nussiges Röstmalz. - Antrunk vielschichtig dunkelmalzig, leicht trocken und nussig, ausbalanciert durch schöne fruchtige Herbe mit zarter Säure. Dezent malzsüß, leicht weinig. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang feine herbale Hopfenherbe. - Komplexes, fein gehopftes und rundes Bier, das zwischen dunklem Märzen und Frankenlager changiert. Friedmann Pils, Flasche aus dem Königsteiner Getränkemarkt (Oberpfalz). - Satt goldgelb, schwach trüb. - In der Nase getreidig-brotiges helles Malz und elegante zitrusfruchtige Herbe. - Antrunk saftig hellmalzig mit zarter Karamelsüße. Gedämpfte, leicht trockene Orangenschalenbittere geht in aromatische herbale Bittere über. Anklänge an Eukalyptus. Mild rezent, vollmundig. Trocken herber Nachtrunk. - Malzbetonter, auch ethanolreicher als üblich, dabei knackig gehopft, rund und süffig. Sehr schönes, individuell gestaltetes Pils. (15.9.2019.)

Bottles. Deep orange-gold, cloudy, with a tall, fine head. Very fruity nose, peaches, oranges, apple, pineapple. dry, fruity, flavor of citrus, apricot. Crisp, fresh, dry finish.

Tap at the Biergarten zum Bergschlochen. Orange, hazy, with a tall head. Citrus nose, worty malt, estery, oranges. Spicy, bready flavor, oragnes, rather sweet, with plums and honey.

Bought at the brewery. Boiled milk and barnyard aroma. Some complexity in the flavor. Boiled milk, hops, cream, apricot. Could have been better as it is now Tasted In december 2011. Lovely floral grassy hopbitter flavor. Malty, medium bodied. Hints of citrus and peach. Well balanced. Solid.

Hops and boiled milk in the aroma. The hoppiness is stronger in the flavor. The boiled milk remains with some diacetyl. (6 3 5 2 9 = 2.5) Re-rate Bottle. Golden color. Grass and a hint of butter in the aroma. Malty sweetish, buttery, soft grassy flavor, at least meddium bodied. Pleasant, almost old fashioned helles. Hint of Werthers Original in the aftertaste
