Tap at Fränkisches Bierfest. Deep chestnut, mostly clear. Roasted, toasted bread, bread that is slightly burned. Front heavy, light. Bit sweet. Good drinkability.

Tap at Fränkisches Bierfest. Cloudy amber brown, offwhite cream. Grassy hop aroma. Bready roast, grass, a bit seaweed, dry roast, dark candy, light clayish herbal grassy finish. Quite quaffable. Grumpy beer-sorting hat aproves.

Bottle picked up from Sedats Schlüggla Getrankemarkt, Schwaig bei Nürnberg on the way back home after Maifield Derby Music Festival on Monday, had this at our apartment/hotel in Nürnberg, Wednesday 4th June 2025 en route to the UK after a day of mowing lawns and other gardening duties. We're staying in Nürnberg tonight. Drinking from the bottle again so can only apply an average score to appearance. A little grassy hop on the nose but otherwise very little else. Light maltiness, some sweetness, a little cereal and bread, yeah it's ok but not a patch on the earlier train beer.

Ratebeer Odense Lager After Easter Tasting. Copper with a lasting white head. Malty aroma with toffee and caramel. Sweet malty flavour with a touch of diacetyl.
