Bottle at the Gasthof zum Stiefel. Cloudy is a gr8 gold a bit of citrus and tropical fruit. Some banana but also something a bit raw and agricultural. Some hop bitter . Some light herb. ok just not quite my thing.

500ml Bottle (Bieramt, Nuremberg) - Dark brown with red tinges. Malty aroma with notes of berries and caramel. Malty and slightly nutty taste with chestnuts, cocoa, caramel and berries.

Tap at a restaurant in town. Bright gold with a high, airy, rocky head. Grassy, herbal hop nose, somewhat worty malt. Lemony herbal flavor, crackers, straw. Very crisp. Fruity and clean. Nice.

Tap at the brewery restaurant. Bright, clear golden color. Rich, creamy malt nose, biscuits, bread, touch of herbal hops. Crisp malt flavor, lemony, herbal hops. Full but a bit heavy, lemony. A rather typical Franconian Helles. Nothing wrong with it, but fails to shine either.

„Sigi's Lager“, Flasche (50 cl) von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. - Goldbraun, trüb. - In der Nase warmes Toastmalz und runder zitrusfruchtiger Hopfen. - Antrunk karamelmalzig mit milder Brotkruste. Milder aber aromatischer zitrusfruchtiger Hopfen (Orangenschale). Durchschnittlich rezent, leicht mineralisch. Im Abgang nur wenig hopfenherb und schwach kalkig. - Angenehmes Frankenlager, rund und süffig aber nur mild gehopft.

(Bottle, 0.5 l, thanks VastActiv/TimoA, 20170707) The beer poured golden and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had spiciness, banana and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied and watery with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, spiciness, banana, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. A nice spicy hefeweizen.
