Banana and clove present in the nose, a sodalike quality and a tiny whif hops as well. hayish golden, heavily carbonated, big fluffy head. Empty hayish flavors, a hint of banana and yeast. Body is stripped of all the good stuff - the rest is just watery and boring. Slight banana aftertaste. I do not like Kristall either.

Orange gold, all clear; fluffy white head. A bit smoked malt-like aroma, amongst a lot of sweet malt. Sweet taste, flat, but some good crystal and other malts. Light body - like maize-filled, which is doubly terrible for a Reinheitsgebot brewed beer. Aftertaste - after what? I thought only big brewing concerns could make such a range of truly awful beers. Guess again.

Very clear & pale gold beer; very white, fluffy head. Nose of chalk and a bit of sugar malt. Vague malty taste. Definitely some saltiness, which is surprising for a Pilsener. But actually, that was looking for a needly in a haystack. What is obvious, is a nearly ABSOLUTE lack of taste. The softness is enough to give the impression of mineral water. Even when not very carbonated, carbonation is apparent - because nowt else is. Oh boy. Talk about a Christmas present.

Superhuge light-yellow head on a rim of light golden beer, all clear. Head is not very stable however. Banana ester in the nose, but not before a whiff of hops has gone by. Very sweet nose, all the same. Next time I take a bubble bath, I'll add a pack of cube sugar, and then take a sip. I bet it tastes exactly the same. Retronasal there is a suspicion of bitterness. Or was it just a wraith? Light, empty mouthfeel, at the end even some stickiness. I don't like Kristal Weizen. This sample proves exactly why.

Aroma i low-level malty with decent bitterhop notes. Nice orange amber color, ok head. Nourishing malt flavors stay in the foreground (bread, hay) then there is a gap followed by a dry bitterhop finish, the bready malt prevails in the aftertaste however. Ok solid winterbeer.

Argh the ring broke off - I HATE THE BLOODY PULL OFF CAPS! Herbal bitter nose. Very pale strawcolor, frothy white head. Lightbodied with a broad bitterhop profile (appareantly due to the use of Magnum). As I like very bitter northgerman pilsners this appeals to me in principle, but the brew lacks a solid quality. Herbal aftertaste.
