Description
The brewery Fuglsang can rightly call itself Denmark's oldest family-owned brewery. Søren Christian Fuglsang founded the brewery in 1865, and today it is some of his great-grandchildren who, with respect for the craft and the raw materials, produce solid South Jutland beer.

The family also runs its own export malt factory, which is Denmark's largest and one of the few independents in Europe - it is the one that supplies a large part of the good malt to Fuglsang's beer.

Light copper. Aroma of alcohol, phenols (band-aid), gasoline. Same flavours, with grainy notes. High gravity brewing at its worst. A total drain pour.

Burnished golden; mild nose of alcohol & cider (again? say what you want about the Danes, at least they're consistent). Oily body. A little alcohol burn. Cidery, other assorted macro flavours jumbled in there. Easy drinking for its size.

Pale golden. Corn aroma with hints of glue. Thin, no bitterness, no evidence of hops. Very similar to the beer produced in tropical countries where the can't grew barley and the brewing equipment is outdated.
