50cl bottle at home. BBF 010110 cloudy brown, small light brown thick head. very spicy aroma, cardemom, oranges.toffee. some hint of sourness in the background. flavor is slightly, but definetly sour, spices, oranges, alc. well hidden by the sourness. brewer might want to set his BBF 6 months earlier as it seems to be going downhill here, 6 months before BBF, turning sour despite the high alc%. was bought apr 22 magasin lyngby this year, stored dark at about 17 degrees since that.

Bottle. A fizzy, hazy, golden beer with a dense, finger-thick off-white head. Very flowery on the aroma, with some orange, a hint of spices and a ginger-like touch. Soapy, flowery flavor with some sweetness, a hint of bitterness and oranges, and even more flowers. Full-bodied and rather effervescent. Flowery, slightly sweet finish.Overall it’s too much on the soapy, flowery side. Way too much. (090412)

Bottle. It pours a hazy orange-golden body under a creamy, beige head. Sweet, fruity nose with herbs and sugars. Pleasant hops. Sweet and fruity flavor with herbal bitterness and a hint of alcohol. Full-bodied and lightly warming. Lasting finish with sugars and some herbs. Not the typical tripel, but a really nice one. Maybe a bit focused on sweetness and lacking some complexity, but sure worth a try. (090213)

Bottle. It pours a really dark brown body, almost black, topped by a small, tan head. Roasted nose with some coffee, a bit one-dimensional but very mellow. Chocolate, coffee and coffee-like bitterness in the mouth, leading to a finish with chocolate and some coffee. Dry and smooth in the mouth. A pleasant beer, but it’s not the one to go crazy over, it’s just pleasant. (090213)

Bottle, 6.0%. Slightly strange fruity aroma. Cloudy grey orange colour. Very small white head. The flavour is yeasty, fruity and slightly sweet. A bit muddy impression, both appearance and flavourwise.
