Bottle, 6.0%. Slightly strange fruity aroma. Cloudy grey orange colour. Very small white head. The flavour is yeasty, fruity and slightly sweet. A bit muddy impression, both appearance and flavourwise.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a dark brown with a reddish hue and a dense beige head. Very spicy and perfumy nose. Full-bodied with sweet fruits, a little hard roasted maltiness and distinct notes of lavender and pine. No bitterness. A very eccentric brew! 291208

Bottle at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. It pours an amber to brown body, almost clear, topped by a nice, dense, beige head. The aroma has cardamom, forest, juniper and something perfume-like. Sweet flavor with some salty licorice, alcohol-warmth and some spices. Full-bodied, sticky and warming. It finishes with a lasting flavor of spices and licorice. Quite sweet. A decent, smooth beer, too sweet to give it drinkability, but as a sipper it works. (080913)

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown to light black with a light tan head. Aroma is solid lavendar with a mild roasted note. Sweet malty, mild chocolate but most of all overempowering lavendar flavoured. Bitter and roasted finish, solid lavendar finish. Strange but charming.

Bottled. A murky brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of cinnamon, ginger, and cardemomme, but also a slight burnt edge. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of spices especially ginger and cardemomme, but also with a an acidic note, leading to a dry spicy finish. A bit too much spice for me.
