Draft at the brewery. A golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of caramel, yeast, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of caramel and medium notes of candy sugar, yeast, esters, caramel, and malt, leading to a dry spicy finish. Nice.

Growler, 7.0%. Mild liquorice aroma. Black colour, small brown head. The flavour has a nice coffee note, like fresh ground coffee, not bitter. A little sweetness, only slightly roasted malt. Faint hint of stable or barnyard in the finish. Creamy mouthfeel. Very good.

Growler, 7.5%. Mild spicy coriander aroma. Hazy amber colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is OK spicy. Has a distinct bitterness, a bit rough. The hoppiness gets a little sour towards the finish.

Growler 200 cl. Pours amber with a slight haze with a smallish off-white head. Very, very fruity nose - unusually pleasant. Solid body, again pleasant exotic fruits, a little spice with a warming alcohol and a decent hopping. Well crafted - as usual from Vejle. 200210

Handbottled. Mild roasted coffee aroma. Clear dark brown colour. Good sweetish, roasted malt flavour. Has a little hoppiness, grassy, only weak underneath the roasted malt.

Hand bottled from the tank. A deep red with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops, malt, caramel, and some spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemon, grapefruit, and hops as well as some caramel and malt, leading to a bitter and dry finish. Thanks a lot Torsten.

Draught @ Remouladen, Dæmningen 42-44 , 7100 Vejle, Denmark.Clear dark dark brown almost black color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, coffee notes, brown sugar notes, licorice and english licorice notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sipy - peppery finish. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft. [20091130]
