50ml, sampled at CBF 09. Dark-brown body with a tiny, tan head. Smell of roasted malts. Coffee to the forefront of the flavour gradually joined by cocoa and rather high impact of alcohol. A bit out of tune, but still a fine, strong imperial stout (16.05.2009).

Bottled (BB 06/2009, Vasa session). Clear golden-honey color, small white head. Strong aroma of ginger and lemony dish cleanser, a bit like Finnish sima. Light palate. Ginger and citron dominate the flavor, a bit sweet background. Simple beer ... and as said, this is a bit like a radler :)

Bottle from Barley Wine. Pours black with a rellatively big brown head. The next surprise is the aroma, it smells solely of citrusy hops! Tastes of hops, chocolate, soy and rosted malts. Pity that thist brewery is out of business!

Bottle. Look: Black. Beige head. Smell: Lots of hops. Milk chocolate. The aroma indicates that this could be an IPA aswell as a stout. One of the hoppiest smelling stout i’ve ever tried. Taste: Hoppy at first, then milk chocolate, roasted tones and small smokeiness in the aftertaste.
