Bottled. A pitch black beer with a nice bubbly but lasting brown head. The aroma is sweet chocolaty, and a bit of fruity oranges, but also with a dusty hop note. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of chocolate, of the dark bitter sort, but also hard roasted malt notes as well as some expresso roast coffee, and ground cocoa beans. The mouthfeel is fizzy due to high carbonation, but at the same time smooth - a weird combination. The alcohol is felt slightly on the tongue towards the end, which is dry and bitter from the roasted malt.
