On tap at Carlsens kvarter(Odense) Dark browny red with white head. This is an old recipe from esrum monastery. It has 6 different herbs and tastes and smells of diverse spicy herbs. Unfrotunatly The body is not as thick as it promoises from the beholders eye. The finish is a bit bitter and of course spicy from the herbs. OK!

Bottle. Orange colour with a white head. Acid malt aroma. Flavour is malt and hop. Light bitter finish.

Bottle. Vintage 2004. Dark brown colour with a small tan head. Sweet malty aroma with hints of dark fruits. Very fruity flavor with lots of alcohol. Hints of dark fruits and spicies. Very warming finish with some fruitiness.

A deep red beer with a huge light brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of brewing mash, nuts, brown sugar, and a faint note of alcohol, as well as a dusty notes of hops. The flavor is sweet malty with a strong caramel presence togehter with a light touch of wood, which in the end turns into a note of brewmash, before a medium bitter and dry end finishes it off.

Dark ruby, small but somewhat lasting head. Caramel and hay aroma. Sweet caramel-dominated flavour with some wine-like alcohol.

Bottle. Frothy white good mostly deminishing head. Very malty aroma. OK flavor average finish. Very nice oily palate. Not fantastic belgian ale, but still ok beer.

Bottle. Creamy lightbrown good head. Mostly lasting. Brown colour. Week but nice aroma. Very good taste of chocolate and licorice. A little watery palate. Nice stout.
