Bottle 500ml.Clear medium to dark amber orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, wood dry notes, light to moderate hoppy, flowers - perfume, celery. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20110129]

On tap at the brewpub. It pours a hazy dark golden body under a creamy nitro-looking off-white head. Buttery caramel aroma with a nuttyness and a woody touch. Good fruityness too. A bit low on carbonation, full-bodied and semi-sweet. Some butter in the flavor too but mostly caramel and fruityness. Some nuttyness and fine bitterness. Bitter, fruity finish with caramel and some nuts. A decent one indeed, but a bit heavy on the butter. 101020
