Near gusher. Big offwhite head doesn’t last. Clear brown body with fast carbonation. Strawberry and caramel aroma with spicy notes. Sweetish peppery honey taste with spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, fizzy mouthfeel. Sweet spicy honey aftertaste with chalky mealy notes. Kept trying to gush after I served it. (0.5l bottle, from Føtex Federikshavn.)

Medium beige head. Clear brown body with light carbonation. Earthy toffee and caramel aroma with cinnamon notes. Sweetish earthy spicy caramel taste with overripe fruit and dirt notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel with some alcohol heat. Dryish-alcoholic dirty earthy spicy aftertaste. Really didn’t agree with me at all. First I thought it was infected, but it’s not acidic. (0.5l bottle, from Føtex Fredericia.)

Mid-bodied. Fizzy mouthfeel. Dry herbal floral aftertaste with fruity alcoholic notes. It’s OK, but has some off flavours. (0.5l bottle, from Føtex Frederikshavn. Label says 4.6%.)

Bottle, 75cl corked. As Amerikansk Amber Ale. It pours an unclear amber to brown body under a finger-thick beige head. The aroma is lightly vegetal and grassy, with caramel and some roasted malts. It’s soft on the palate, a bit thin, and quite dry, with a nice bitterness. Caramel, bread, some nuts and a little bitterness in the flavor. Too grassy and vegetal in the finish. Not more than half-decent this one. Sort of homebrew-ish. 160514

Clear amber, small offwhite head. Aroma has malt and hops, hints of citrus. I don’ get any elderflower. Flavour has caramel and a little citrus. A little rough perhaps but ok.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a thick black with a dissipating beige head. Nose has raisin and ashes. Rich body, low carbonation, heavy roast and licorice syrup notes with some late booze. Not great but not bad either. 080115
