Chelmsford Beer Festival. Cask. Almost opaque dark brown beer, bubbly pale tan head. Palate is smooth and mildly dry, modest carbonation. Big candy fruits! Parma violets! Light fruits and mild spice. Mild and tangy licorice. Airy finish. Unusual!

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Cask. As Fat Cat ’25PA’. Light haze on this gold beer, small white head. Smooth palate, semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Soft and sweetish malts. Very mild creamy malt. Good smooth piney hop. Ripe citrus. A little sweetish mango intertwined with floral bitterness. Light semi dry finish. Tidy.

Gravity dispense (bag-in-box) @ Fat Cat Brewery Tap, 98-100 Lawson Road, Norwich, Norfolk, England NR3 4LF. [ As Fat Cat Scrumpy Cat Cider ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate apple, sweet apples, fruity apples, sulfur, yellow apples. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, yellow apples, sweet apples, sulfur notes. [ As Fat Cat Cecil’s Revenge ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity malt, pale malt, light to moderate hoppy, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, biscuit malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, light hoppy. Clear golden color with a small white layer on top. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium (-) body and a soft carbonation level. Ok balanced sweetness versus bitterness. Caramel malty, mild fruity and herbal hoppy flavor.

Clear golden color with a tiny layer on top. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation level. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Malty, mild fruity and herbal/grassy flavor. Not really a wild cat. Anyway not the worst golden ale I have tried.
