Cask at the Fat Cat Brewery Tap, Norwich, 27/01/24. Clear golden blonde with a good sized white head. Nose is tangerine, grass, airy malts, light breads. Taste comprises straw, melon, mandarin, light bread dough. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough cask golde.

Cask at Bakers Vaults, Stockport. Pours lemon yellow with a small almost white head and good lacing. The aroma is mainly floral hops, with a sprinkling of malts. In the mouth it is briefly sweet before the influx of bitter hops (mixed traditional and floral). Flavour has citrus tangerine and mango, leading to a slightly bitter finish. Itโs reasonable.

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2023, day 3 - Hackney. Pours clear dark gold with a frothy, off-white head. Light sweet flavour with notes of well toasted biscuits, leafy hops, a little earth, dried citrus, weak coffee. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Alright condition. Finishes with notes of toasted malts and biscuits, mild earthy bitterness, leafy accents, tea, earth, orange peel. Nice, tame bitter.

Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small foamy white head. Not much of an aroma โ just some vague tropical truits. In the mouth itโs mainly fruits again โ mango, melon, kiwi and general citrus plus traces of floral hops and spices. Finish is sticky citrus. Itโs OK, but not for me at all.
