Cask gravity at Battersea BF 2007. Gold colour with no head. Bit medicinal on aroma. More medicinal/iodine in mouth, some toffee. Finish is pleasant with heat from the iodine. Some good dryness on end.

Cask at Merton Beer Festival July 7th, 8th 2006. I’m getting to quite like this brewery having had the mightily impressive Flatbac at Banbury Beer Festival. Whilst not quite hitting the heady heights of its stablemate was nonetheless a great little mild. A very dark brown colour to this mild and I agree with Glenn it did have a smokiness to it. More body than many other milds and with chocolate drifting and floating around ever present. very good.

Cask Conditioned at Banbury Beer Festival Fri 21-04-06. This for me was one of the best beers that I had a Banbury during the evening. An exceptionally good light golden coloured beer that reveals a lovely aroma slightly citrusy and a touch malty. This has a really great balance of bitterness and sweetness and is also both crisp and refreshing a superb beer.

[Cask at GBBF 2005] An orange beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy and malty - and so is the flavor though combined with a floral note - is it Cascade? The mouthfeel is slightly sticky. All in all a nice beer.
