Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 1/6/08. Deep gold in colour with a slight white head. Aroma of sweet malt with some fruit and grassy hops. Flavour was also sweetish with a decent hoppy, dry finish. Ok.

[cask at Reading Beer Festival] Pale for a mild, looks more like a dark best bitter. Tastes like it too - fruity, with a dusty bitter afteratste. Disappointing.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 17/4/08. Deep gold with a moderate white head. Slightly savoury malt aroma followed by some biscuit malt and apricot flavours and a short bitter finish. Ok.

Cask (handpump) @ New Oxford, Manchester M4, UK. Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy - creamy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, burnt, smoke, vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. (Malt bitter and vanilla sweet). Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is flat. (190108)

Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dust, coke. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft - flat. (190108)

Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, brown sugar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to short duration. Body is medium, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is flat. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, roasted, damp-stained (fusty), fruity, light green-apple. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration.
