Hazy red copper ale with off-white head. Pungeant hops and funky herbs. Complex sweet prunes and earthy hops, lots of grapefruits, intense bitterness and good hop finish. Rich mouthfeel. Bottle sampled with TiggMtl, MartinT, muzzlehatch and Rastacouere.

Deep black ale with thick moka head. Chocolate and raisins aroma. Bitter roasted coffee beans and chocolate malt with a sweet finish. Lots of hops in final. Rich and complex bodied. Alcohol well camouflaged by all this malt. Beautiful.

A yellow beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet malty. The flavor is sweet malt with a good deal of hops and the mouthfeel is quite dry.

2004 bottle compliments of bucknaked. Pours a hazy bright goldenrod, bottle conditioned with a big white head. Aroma of hay, grass, light butter, some lightly herbal hops, mineral water, yeast. Flavor is lightly yeast, with some light white bread dough notes, a touch of citrusy hops (very subdued) and a slightly sweet malt finish. Pretty simple stuff, but perfectly executed. Not watery at all (relative to style). Lightly chewy wheat body, medium and refreshing. Touch of light yellow fruits on the end as well. A bit buttery and strong on the malt, I would prefer some more crisp hops notes, or a bit lighter yeast. 7/5/7/3/15
2005 bottle Bitter right away, with honey and flowers. Amber-golden color, with a firm white head and lacing. Light oat-like creaminess, very flavorful. Pale malt, carapils, flowery. Modest carbonation. Soapy, in a way, on the palate, but yet not soapy in flavor. 7/5/7/4/14

Bottled. Very black, brown head. Intensely roasty with some licorice up front. Dry and richly malty and full flavoured with clean mouthfeel. Strikingly hoppy, some citrus. Very bitter, resiny finish.

2004 bottle compliments of bucknaked the man with the mcneils. Didnt want to rate this on any pretense but man, this shit smells like boring old wheat, light pils malt, light no bitter hops. Flavor is old, stale and just not full enough to hold any real flavor. Watery, thin, bland, dominated by wheat, full of crap. Whatever, it just dosent cut it. Smooth and soft texture, but just not enough of anything else.

2004 bomber. Pours a vibrant reddish-amber with a big off-white foamy head. Huge fruity aroma, tons of yeast, apples, raspberries, plums, nectarines, strawberries. Wow. Lightly dry toasted malt. Little sweetness. Flavor seems to echo the aroma. There is a hugely dry yeast presence adding a spectacular amount of fruity ester characteristics. The dry toasted malt seems to only make this more papery/astringent and dry. I appreciate that this is high quality stuff, bottle conditioned and all, but it just needs more sweetness and body. The fruitiness gets boring as I finish off the 22. Highly floral bitterness, good zesty carbonation and smooth medium body as typical.
