Pitch black topped with a dirty tan cap that dissipates to a swirl and heads to the edge.
Nose is decadent chocolate, ripe dried fruit esters, bourbon splashdown, molasses, toasted brown sugars.
Taste comprises dark malts, molasses, vanilla, chocolate, mellow bourbon, light spice balance.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Just a light tangy edge to the flavour profile lets this one down a little. Tidy enough BA impy.

Bottle shared. Opaque black color, small brown lacing. Aroma is sweet dark sugary, perhaps maple. Flavor is initially.very sweet as well, but with a coffee sourish roasty finish. Hmm not a fan of these beers, too heavy and mix of cloying sweetness with coffee sourness, nah not my thing. 8-4-6-8-6

500 ml bottle from the BA Big Beer box. Aroma has notes of chocolate, plum, English dark beer. Pours inky black with no head, just a thin collar of beige foam. Taste is highly sweet and roasty with flavors like the aroma; tastes of oxidation. Very rich.

Bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of tan head that dissipates quickly. Apple Brandy notes on the nose with bourbon, oak and dark chocolate. Palate is similar with lots of apple brandy, bourbon, chocolate and dark fruit. Smooth finish with great barrel character. Killer stuff!

Panda thanks to Wingman. Near clear dark brown beer, small and short lived bubbly dark tan head. Fairly light palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Fairly thin bodied dark malts but punchy flavours. Good chocolate brownie and a little chocolate cake. Vanilla icing on the back end along with what tastes like a lively bourbon barrelling. Comes together well with a touch of Christmas spiced ripe orange. Tasty and goes down very easy for the abv.

Bottled 500ml. -at Ambasada Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, small brown head that went away fast, coffee and light maple in the nose. Coffee, dark chocolate, cinnamon, maple and light barrel with spicy and vanilla notes. Oily, alcohol hidden but overall bit too sweet.

Tap at Beerlovers bar. Haha, massive deep brown to black with very dark head. A ton of sugary malts, maple, bourbon, coffee, rye whiskey, more brown sugar, vanilla, booze. It has everything you could want: chocolate, maple, coffee, vanilla and bourbon. Very very sweet, solid boozy. Over the top. Really over the top. But really well made and so tasty... ,,😋😋

Pours deeply black, medium to medium large browned head. Scent is roasty, kinda sharp, less sugarry than expected. Some coffee. Mild on the barrel. Taste is totally different though, more of what i hoped for, and than some ! Straight up maple goodness, coffee tones, mild but present whisky and oak. Sweet, thick. Pastry heavy, but all maple ! Happyness infusion liquid. I can see how this is concidered too sweet, to straight forward though, even for me, this is ... Pretty one sided. I'm just lucky it's a side i really like !
