Can from Beerdome. Black with a small brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, wood and bourbon. Flavor is quite sweet. Sweet finish with a little warming alcohol. Oily and soft. 150524

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, small white head. Aroma is chocolate, cocoa and some vanilla. Flavour is syrup, chocolate, vanilla and strawberry marshmallows. OK, but slightly too sweet for my preference.

50cl Fles, dank Harmen! Bijna zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Bakken met koffie, alcohol en melasse, gebrand, licht droppig, smaak werd iets subtieler na een aantal slokken waardoor de drinkervaring een stuk beter werd. Ongebalanceerd, maar wel smakelijk. Medium body.

Bottle, 3 months past bb. 1st glass at 13C, maybe a little colder would have been better. Black, a tan head retreats swiftly to the rim. Aroma of spiced mocha, dark roast. Lots of cinnamon. Oily, lowish carbonation. Only fairly sweet but with loads of chocolate, marked with orange, vanilla and cinnamon. Getting the apples in the aroma now, not so much in the taste. Bitterness is sufficient to lift away a lot of the sweetness but the cinnamon remains. Very good.

Canned (from Piwne Mosty). Hazy yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some mild oaty and toffeeish tones. Flavour is oaty, some fruity and mild toffeeish tones with some herbal and mild nectary tones. Nice, but this one would win with a little bit more bitterness.

Canned (from Piwne Mosty). Slightly hazy ambery orange colour with a small white head. Aroma is toffee, some caramel, mild nutty notes with some earthy, herbal and bready tones. Nice Pils!
