Bottle from the Stevens Creek Total Wine in San Jose, CA. Pours translucent dark cherry color with a humongous foamy dark pink head. Aroma of tart cooking cherries. Med body. Flavor is lots of cooking cherries, some strong lime, and sweet/tart aspects. A bit astringent. It is superb.

Capped 375 from Stevens Creek Total Wine. Pours translucent amber with a very transient set of beige bubbles. Aroma of cinnamon and red wine. Med body. Quite tart. Flavor of cinnamon and apples with very sour malt. So sour it's halfway to a BFM level. Not the Brett I hoped for, but it's a good sour.

Can. Reddish-amber beer with a pinkish cream head. Berry and light citrus aroma. Lactose and grapefruit flavor with berry. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Berry and grapefruit linger with lactose. Slight clash of flavors.

From can to pint glass. A really nice tropical fruit aroma that leads into the same flavor. Faint dank aspects. Mostly clear light gold with full white head that lingered. This was one of the best beers I have had from Hermitage.
