Sample at GABF 10/05/2019, thanks to kathryneels for assistance with note-taking. Cloudy dark yellow color with a thin white head that burns away quickly to a film. Short strings of lace. Pineapple, yeast and oak in the nose. Medium to full body with flavors of funky pineapple, yeast, oak and doughy malt. The finish is tart and funky with a pineapple aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample at GABF 10/05/2019, thanks to kathryneels for assistance with note-taking. Reddish-copper color with a medium off-white head that recedes quickly to a wispy film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of tart cherry, yeast and malt. Light to medium body with a tart cherry character and notes of mildly funky yeast, wheat and malt. The finish is moderately tart with a lingering cherry aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Can from Total Wine in San Jose, CA. (Stevens Creek) Pours translucent gold with a white head. Aroma of mango with a bit of citrus. Nearly med body. Flavor has slightly roasty malt with some tingling tropical fruit hoppiness. Reasonably dry. Moderately bitter. Decent drink.

Can from Total Wine in San Jose, CA (Stevens Creek). Pours darkly ruddy with a beige head. Aroma of plummy dark fruit, roasty malt and something I can't place, but it's minor. Got it - it's smoky. Near full bodied. Flavor is plum/prune, smoky malt and slightly roasty malt. Heat may be detectable, but maybe I'm stretching for that. Not dry, but not at all sticky. Moderately bitter. Nice winter drink.

3750ml bottle pours out golden copper color topped with a white head. Nose is nice big funky grapes barrel and more grape. Taste is more of the nice tart pucker white grapes and a funky barrel.
