(Bottle, 0.75l, thanks oh6gdx, 20241231) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was tiny and white. Aroma had toasted malts, wood, vanilla, whisky, grass and chocolate. Palate was medium bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were toasted malts, wood, vinous notes, vanilla, chocolate and bitterness. Aftertaste had vinous notes, wood, toasted malts and bitterness. A nice barrel aged brew. The alcohol warmth was a little bit too strong.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso viene attratto dal fruttato. La finezza olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma destinata a vita breve. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è ambrato carico tendente marrone. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è elevata e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di caramello, miele, frutta secca e agrumi.

Palate was medium bodied, warming and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were spiciness, wood, malts, clove, vanilla, juniper and bitterness. Aftertaste had wood, juniper, alcohols and bitterness. Nice.

Smell of vanilla. Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of whisky, vanilla, rye, some salmiakki. Medium sweet, medium bitter. Lively carbon.

(Keg at SOPP Helsinki 2024) The cider poured deep golden and clear. Aroma had apple juice, tartness and apple seeds. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were tartness, apple juice, apple seeds and light sourness. Aftertaste was dry and tart. Tasty.

2024 vintage. Malty, sweetish and bready with some rye whisky notes, hints of wood, oak, vanilla and syrup, some caramel and toffee.
