Bottle from Pigalle's bottleshop/fridge. Deep brown pour with brown foam on top. Nose is soft, bit of yoghurt, also some dark dry fruits and light roast character. Taste has medium bitterness, soft roast character, soy sauce and liquorice. Prickly bitterness, from hops but maybe also from roast. Not completely in balance but still a good combination. Quite characterful and pretty tasty.

Bottle from the brewery. 375ml demi. Hazy pastel gold with a low, airy head. Big yuzu nose, zesty, slightly spicy from the saison yeast, light biscuit malt. Huge yuzu flavor, crisp and bright, somewhat light in the malt. Spicy yeast goes well. Light and crisp with a dry, spicy finish. Very nice. I preferred last year's 6% version because it had more malt (and also yeast) character to stand up to the yuzu, but this is a fine yuzu showcase and good for New Year's morning with your mochi.

Thanks TimE for sharing the bottle! Poured into a tulip showing lightly filtered pale amber with sparse white foam. The nose shows pronounced notes of brett and hay. The palate is medium bodied and lightly carbonated. Subtle tartness with surprisingly no acidity, clean and refreshing.

Tap @ Pigalle. Pours nice yellow, bit cloudy and with a decent frothy white head. Nose has some malt sweetness, lots of fruits, yellow plums and also some Belgian yeast spices. Taste has measured herbal bitterness, medium bodied, very tasty and satisfying. Hoppy and light Belgian pale ale, lots of character but still very much drinkable, excellent.
