Yorocco Black Sword 6.8% This Black IPA is a deep inky black with a light beige head. This has a great bouquet featuring fruits and an underlying dark malt character.  Fairly light bodied with a very dry finish. The taste is fruity hops, some roastiness and dark chocolate. Quite a solid expression of the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light brown color. Lovely nose of whiskey, apricot and cherries. Very malty, slightly sweet. Low carbonation. Smooth. Mouth shows lots of chocolate malt, whiskey, cherries. Really well balanced. Nice beer.

Yorocco Ace of Space Dark Saison 5.5% Pitch black with a thick beige head and an aroma of dates plus chocolate. Soft with a round carbonation and a med-full body. The taste is savoury, soy, treacle, dates, figs, chocolate syrup with a mild saison character and some hearty roastiness. Very nice easy drinking stuff and the perfect capper to a day at the beach.

Tap at Beach Muffin. Light brown. Has a brown malt aroma. Bubbly, creamy head. Good porter.

Billed as a Scottish, this is hazy amber, nice caramels, fresh malts, light brown sugars, has a well-balanced character. Good malt development makes this work.

Had this at Beach Muffin. This was a soft, well balanced ale with a lot of ginger on both the nose and palate.

Bottle from the brewery, June 2016 7/4/7/4/14. Nose if licorice, orange, lemon, chocolate brownies. Clear Belgian yeast character. Black, cloudy, with a lacy head. Rich chocolate flavors, spicy, citrus fruits, dry finish. Nice. Tap at Beach Muffin. Much richer flavors this batch, spice, licorice, chocolate, orange, some coffee. A bit more roasty than I like, but very nice.

Tap at Beach Muffin. Light toffee and malt on the nose although quite faint. Hazy chestnut color with a finger of head that lingers. Some prune, toffee and Milky Way (candy bar) nougat and caramel notes. Not sweet like the style should be and actually quite dry. Well-rounded body and mouthfeel. Slight lingering hoppy bitterness on the finish. More dryness. This is definitely a Yorocco scotch ale (not in the traditional sense) but really nice hybrid take on a traditional style. --- Beer merged from original tick of Malty Dew on 19 Jun 2016 at 16:26 - Score: 8. Original review text: Light malt and toffee on the nose. Fairly dry but nice Milky Way candy car notes on the palate. Light hoppy finish.

Tap at Beach Muffin. Fairly clear gold with a small white head. Honey and biscuit malt on the nose with generous whiffs of lemongrass and ginger. Medium light body and well-rounded mouthfeel. Lemongrass, ginger and honey really come out on the palate but are really kept in check and not overdone like so many beers with these spices. A pleasant, warming ginger flavor that lingers on the palate. A fun summer beer. --- Beer merged from original tick of Daddy-O on 19 Jun 2016 at 15:38 - Score: 7. Original review text: Lemongrass and ginger forward spiced beer. Not overdone and fairly balanced.

Hazy pale. Fresh, mellow hop nose, apricot, and maybe pia. Soft body, very sweet pale malts, tropical hops, has a great balance, super drinkable, touch of bitterness late.
