Tap at Beach Muffin. Light Belgian yeast nose with bakers chocolate and some milk chocolate notes alongside coffee. Light body and very drinkable at 3.9 percent. More cacao nib on the palate and faint roasted coffee bitterness on the finish. Simple and well-done summer porter. --- Beer merged from original tick of An Pom-Tang Porter on 11 Jun 2016 at 14:59 - Score: 7. Original review text: Belgian chocolate, coffee and Yorocco yeast. Light and crushable. Solid.

Bottle from Davido. Spicy, chocolaty nose, orange, licorice, herbs, raisins. Black with a lovely hgh rocky saison head. Flavor is chocolate and minerals, dry. Grapefruit, raisin, orange, licorice, and a touch of coffee. Bitter, tingly, peppery finish. Usually don’t like the style much, bt vry well done. Carbonation is just about Perfect.

New 2016 4% abv bottle shared. Thanks Davido! Citrus-forward nose with crackery malts and a nice Belgian yeast character in the background. Nice proper saison carbonation, more oranges on the palate and bone dry on the finish. Awesome stuff. More low abv saisons please, brewer’s who are reading! --- Beer merged from original tick of Saison on 03 May 2016 at 14:36 - Score: 8. Lots of aniseed, chocolate and dark fruit. Nice dry palate, with lots of funk and anise, a touch sour. Spicy aniseed. A bit unbalanced. Not my favorite style (actually I don’t really like dark saison a that much),

Tap at Beach Muffin. Citrus-forward nose with lots of zesty amanatsu and bright mikan notes alongside a wonderful saison yeast aromas. Juicy and pulpy citrus on the palate. Great carbonation, fruity and yet perfectly dry. Well-balanced for the low abv. Nice zesty bitterness on the finish and manages to avoid the pithy astringency that plague many beers with citrus. Very refreshing and quaffable. 4.7 abv?!?!? Still in disbelief for the amount of body and character. --- Beer merged from original tick of Zesty Saison on 24 Apr 2016 at 17:31 - Score: 8. Original review text: Tons of citrus on the nose:amanatsu and orange. Juicy but dry on the palate. So good.
