Description
Born in La-Roche-en-Ardenne and developed and refined in Ghent, this hoppy beer combines Walloon passion and Flemish perseverance. An exceptional Belgian product that owes its name to a Flemish and a Walloon Belgian. Independently of each other, they had the same inspiration. So they named the youngest descendant of the Belgian beer paradise… L’Arogante. More Belgian you can’t get!

Can, courtesy of Meeki - many thanks! Pours clear golden with a stable, frothy, white head. Aroma of peach, citrus, wheat, yellow grapefruit, yellow apple, breadcrust, unripe mandarin. Taste has sweet peach, mandarin, apple & pear, yeasty base supportive of bready maltiness, spicy notes of pepper & spruce, bit zesty sour also thanks to the carbonation. Bitter, grassy & peppery hoppy finish, unripe yellow fruit underneath with lingering zest, retronasal bread & 'pure' malts. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Extremely quenching, well done.

Very good, dense, lightly yellowish head over hazy yellow beer. Fresh oranges, orangejuice, bit nectarine and lunaria. Very bitter, very tasty, again citrus and lunaria; excellent, full of flavour. Nowhere empty, nowhere lean; stable head gives some extra creaminess, mild carbonation. 3.9%?? F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C !

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Clear golden body with a thick white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of dried grass and underripe peach. Flavour of coriander seed and grapefruit. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Very fizzy. Bitter and well balanced - it’s just a bit overcarbonated.

L’ Arogante Session 3.9% Clear gold with a floral hop bouquet. The light body has a somewhat rough flavor but as a Seijo Ishio cheapie it’s alright I guess.
