Description
Independent Brewery producing a wide range of Cask, Keg, Bottled and Canned beers. Products available direct from the on-site shop and tours are available about twice a month. Most beers are now gluten free.
From modest origins in July 2011, which saw Nene Valley Brewery operating with just a two-and-a-half-barrel facility, the company moved into its new riverside premises at the end of that year and now operates a 15-barrel installation. Brewing is undertaken once a week with a range of products distributed to local pubs, wholesalers and direct to the public.

Tap at Brewdog shepherds Bush, collabfest 2022. A clear reddish copper coloured pour with a small beige head. Aroma is fragrant pine, nutty brown bread, red berries. Toast. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty toasted malts, sticky pine, bark, firm bitterness. Ok. Palate is semi sweet, sticky resinous hop, moderate carbonation. Fine.

Keg at BD Soho, panda at home, 21/10/22. Deep amber with a reddish lean and topped with a beige covering that thins to a swirl. Nose is dried red berries, hint of pine, caramel, brown sugars, modest hop presence. Taste comprises toffee, brown bread, light pine, caramel malts, red berries, brown sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with modest hop bitterness. Tidy enough offering for the style if perhaps a touch overly sweet.

Keg draught at BrewDog Leicester. Dark brownish red and only slightly translucent with no head. Big malty aroma, lots and lots of resinous character and oak with berry notes. Gorgeous malt and cola nut in the taste with some bitterness in the short finish. Some chocolate notes in the aftertaste. Lighter bodly than I'd expected with medium carbonation. A cracking amber beer.
