50cl can. A clear dark golden beer with a white lacing Aroma of mid sweet grainy pale malt, honey and biscuit. Taste of sweet pale malt, honey, grainy, bread and cereals.

Hellmalzig herber Beginn. Mild würzig, karamellige Noten, geringe Bitterkeit, rund. Klassisch, etwas zu süß, für einen hellen Bock aber absolut ok. Nett. 10/8/8/8/11/8

can from pivo v plechu. Golden colour, tall and creamy white head, lovely hop aroma. A bit more malty and less hoppy and bitter-sweet than you average Czech lager. Nicely balanced, easy-drinking.

can from pivo v plechu. deep golden colour, almost with a orange-brown glow, tall head. Smooth and velvety, with intensive malty flavours, shy roasty hints and a quite spicy herbal touch.

Tap at Zlý Časy. Says it's unfiltered, but the body is just slightly hazy golden, with a white head. Herbal hoppiness and grainy notes in the aroma, quite classic and fine. Lean, tasty classic herbal-grainy pils, fresh, with a dry light bitter finish. Quite nice!

Tap at Zlý Časy. Clear golden body with a creamy small white head. Malt-driven aroma with mild diacetyl in evidence, unimpressive. Smooth taste, sweetishm maltiness, clean but slightly too clean, apart from some dry grainy touches mixes with a light peppery-herbal hoppiness. Okay lager really, but not more than that - would be a standout perhaps in most countries, but in ČR, at Zlý Časy, it's not.
