Big green half liter green bottle from total wine. Date code is F17#L/PS, WTF? The last beer of a half dozen I got from total wine from Staropilsen. Whatever. Pop the lid for a big nose of skunly green bottle aroma, whew. Permeates the whole room, everybody is asking what the heck is that? Taste is the same, a big skunky what the heck. Pointed weird skunky improperly noble hop bitterness is coming across rather negativity. Yea, its beer, but its aged and very poorly baltic in nature. This is what you get when you try to tick new beers from the old check country, they are pawning off the beers they couldn't sell locally to TW&M. There, you have it. Big bullshit disappointment. Oh well, at least I didn't make this half liter disappointment an appointment. LoL

Got a big green 500mL bottle of this from total wine for 3.5$. Pop the lid for just a fresh lager nose, but just maybe, a hair of skunk. Clear pale look in the glass, big white head that fades rapidly. First swig reveals decent carbonation on top of a more than usual, bitter noble hops. Continuing to the middle, a little less skunky than other staropilsen I've done lately, but yet there is some in there. Getting used to the fresh green grass flavor of this as I near the end. Ever chew on some green lawn grass right out of the lawn mower? Just asking. Pepper? Not sure. Baltic pale cheap lager flavors? Maybe the better of the staropilsen beers I've had so far. Finishes with a medium skunk hop bitterness.

Big half liter green bottle from total wine for 3.5$. On the lid pop, getting the green bottle skunk cabbage veggie aroma. Poured in a generic beer glass, its clear pale but it seems to have a slight dirty gray tint. First big swig provides a jetting medium stunk skunk flavor carrying over from the nose. Continuing, trying to get over the nose, I think I may be having a mild feeling of cheap lager sticking its head up. Honestly tho, I'd rather be doing the medium skunk thing than stupid ass IPA bitterness. Yea, its a cheap macro style lager and it somewhat reminds me of the old latrobe rolling rock that came in green bottles after it sat on the shelf for a year. From start to finish, difficult to get over the skunk character that permeates all aspects of this brew, except the decent carbonation. No meaningful date code on this but DO1#L/PS, whatever that means?

Big 3$ green 0.5L bottle from total wine. Pour is pure clear golden pale. White head fades to a white thin pond scum. Nose is simple fresh lager beer, no sign of skunk cabbage on the olfactory. However, on the first taste you get some of that. Good level of carbonation. The ovor impact is that of an odd green grassy medium pilsner bitter bite. Yes, hops seem to be noble but come across rather uncivilized, almost baltic in nature. Decent over all pale lager but a little less enjoyable than many cheap amerikan made pale lagers. Finish has that odd grassy pils bitterness lasting for a while on the palate.

As the "alias" Zlata Praha. Bottle from Total Wine in Vacaville, CA. Pours clear gold with a transient white head. Light grass/spice aroma. Med body. Bready rather than biscuity. Yet dry. Nicely bitter. Grass/spice.

0.5 l can. Deep golden color, thin white head. Sweetness, malts, and corns in aroma. Strong sweet malty taste with hints of hops. Quite full palate, easily drinkable, medium finish. Not too bad, but too sweet for me.
