Hopfig-süßer Beginn, wenig Laktose, erkennbarer Alkohol, der das Bier dumpfer macht. Süffig, milde Herbe, süffig, fast schon spritzig. Würzig hopfig-hefiger Mittelteil, weich hopfig, langer Nachhall. Gut. 10/11/11/12/12/11

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker - probably this version. Pours hazy black with a quickly thinning, beige head. Aroma of black olive, tobacco, chocolate, toast, fig, cold coffee. Taste is medium malty sweet, nutty-toasty with restrained chocolate, bitter coffee over umami olive & soy. Dry, earthy hoppy finish, quite toasty, tobacco-like. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Drinkable Stout, nice extra dark touch in the end.

4/11/2019. Bottle from Artisan'Ale, Luxembourg. 6.8% abv #02 bottled 9/17 bb 9/19. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, liquorice, roasted malt, caramel, oats, dark fruits and some boozy notes. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Quite full bodied, slick texture, slightly prickly carbonation. Smooth rich chocolate roast finish. Seemed more than it's 6.8% and seemed to have matured well. Enjoyed this.
