Flügge – das sind Dominik Pietsch und Joachim Amrhein. Gegründet haben wir die Brauerei im Jahr 2017 mit dem Anspruch, den deutschen Biermarkt mit Bieren zu bereichern, die in der Art und Weise hier bislang nur sehr selten gebraut werden. Dabei lassen wir gerne die Grenzen des Reinheitsgebots hinter uns. Wir brauen mit wilden Hefen, mit alten Bauernhefen, geben Früchte ins Bier oder arbeiten mit ungewöhnlichen Malzen.

Bottle from Beerdome. Aroma is fruity with tart citrus, tropical fruits, fruity and grassy hops, some grapefruit and lime. Tart flavour with a moderate sourness and a mild hoppy bitterness. Medium body. Quite nice!

Bottle from Beyond Beer, Hamburg. Aroma is vinous with white grape, some tart citrus, white wine, light funk, lemon, yeast. Flavour is tart and mild sour with a nicely dry finish. Medium body. Wonderfull stuff.

Bottle from Beyond Beer, Hamburg. Aroma is Bretty funk upfront with white grape juice, white wine, gooseberry. Flavour is a bit tart and a slightly sour with a little sweetness as well. Finishes quite dry. Body is medium. Hides the abv well, nicely funky with vinous grape abound.

Bottle from Beyond Beer, Hamburg. Aroma is raspberry puree, rosé, tart red fruits, notes of red wine, more raspberry throughout. Flavour is a bit sweet and mild tart. Body is medium. Nice blending of raspberry sour and rosé.

Bottle at home, 30th November 24. Pours a chestnut brown and clear. Aroma is sour cherries, wood, vineous. Taste is intense, cherries, wood, wet barrel, sweet and tart, damson and plum skin. It’s delicious, sorry to see Flugge disappear

Weicher, angenehm säuerlicher Beginn. Rund fruchtig holzig, leicht erhöhte Karbonisierung, milde Bitterkeit. Vergorene Noten von Kirschen, spritzig, mittellanger säuerlicher Abgang, hohe Süffigkeit. Gut. 10/11/9/11/10/10

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & Hrabren, thanks! Bottled date 17.12.2019. Unclear golden coloured, small off-white head, phenolic yeasty nose. Phenolic, yeasty, perfumed fruity, light floral and candy with some alcohol in the finish. Oxidized as well.

0.33 l bottle thanks to Marko, shared with Ogi and him. Hazy darker ruby red to brown, minimal head. Aroma is red fruit, red grapes, vinous, harsh phenols underneath. Earthy, grape skins, herbal, spicy phenols, cardboard. Warming. Dry finish.
