Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, wood, light to moderate chocolate. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, dark malt, roasted, wood, light blackcurrant. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20181017]

Half pint on keg at Hopbunker. Shared with Finn. Spotty lacing from a firm white head, hazy golden body. Aroma of saison fruits, lightly spiced. Blended taste of citrus and mid-tart saison fruits. Ends tart and sweet. Rather thin on the swallow. Fair enough. (Cardiff 03.10.2018).

On keg at Monty's Bar. Appearance - cloudy golden orange. Thin head. Nose - blood orange, pink grapefruit, saison spice. Taste - candied lemon, white pepper, grapefruit zest and pith. A touch of gooseberry or rhubarb. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture. Long dry, lean tangy finish. Overall - lovely beer with tremendous complexity and balance.
