Tap at Damian. Verry intense cherry character dominates the beer. Seems rather natural, while a bit hard to tell in this intensity - and also it is quite sweet, off balance in this dimension. Malt/hops/yeast in background, full fruit bomb. Not bad, but lacking a bit of balance and complexity. Very light fruity sourness present.

IPA from a Budapest brewing company referring to itself as First, though founded only in 2017 and therefore hardly the first Hungarian craft brewery. From a 50 cl can bought at Geers in Oostakker near Ghent. Towering high, foamy, pillowy, egg-white, heavily cobweb-lacing, very frothy and stable head on a near-clear, warm 'old gold' coloured beer with apricot tinge and lively visible sparkling throughout. Aroma of guava, freshly steamed laundry, lime flesh, mango juice, bath foam, lychee, freshly cut celery, dough, sweetclover flowers, mandarin peel, fresh lavender leaves, green banana. Sweetish onset, hinting at unripe melon, light banana, starfruit and halfripe mango, lively carbonation but nowhere harshly stinging, soft and fluffy body; doughy, white-bready maltiness soaked in citric hoppiness, a bit tropical with hints of lychee, guava and mango, adding not only a luscious retronasal flavour experience but also a powdery, leafy bitterness that stretches all over the finish and lingers for quite a while, even if avoiding a truly quinine-like bitterness. Very accessible, supple, 'international' IPA, easily drinkable and refreshing, ticking all the boxes without wanting to adhere to a specific U.S. substyle, somewhere in between clear old bitter West Coast IPA and tropical-fruity hazy IPA. Likeable enough.

Bottle, courtesy of midovark. Huge thanks Márk! Shared with Fil&co. Hazy golden-amber body, white head. Sharp aroma, green fruit, some vegetables, some citric notes and honey... a bit messy. Taste.... very clean compared to the aroma. Pineapple and citric hoppiness on a sweetish grainy background, lovely smooth mouthfeel, extremely drinkable for 7.8%. Quite good!

Bottle. Thanks Midovark! Hazy ocher body, small white head. Strong, big herbal (Jerusalem thorn) and white grapes aroma. Bit too herbal in my opinion, but good. Taste... citric and white grapes hoppiness backed and at times overwhelmed by the oats, but generally not bad at all. Good stuff!

Can at a tasting. Fully hoppy, assertive citrusy zesty character. Also assertive warmth, alcoholic presence. Good but not great.
