Description
Founded in 2002 as Glastonbury Ales. In 2018 the plant was sold to Parkway Brewery but Glastonbury continue to brew there. In 2019, they relocated and renamed.
We set to work back in 2006, bravely challenging the traditional values of the UK beer market. At the time, real ale was under-represented and largely unexciting. We brought unique and flavoursome ales to local pubs and shops. Working with local chefs, farmers and herbalists we expanded our horizons. Soon word spread. Before long, we were working evenings and weekends to meet demand.
In 2008 we took the leap and moved the brewery to a larger site. More space and better equipment enabled us to experiment and diversify. We continued to deliver a broad range of real ales, but expanded into the territory now known as craft beer – small batch, highly experimental brews that ignore the rules to focus on flavour.

4.0% Draft. Clear gold beer. Dry semi crisp palate. Reasonably well balanced beer. Hops just dominating the malt. Hops are fruity but mild. Malt is light and slightly sweet. An unwelcome sulphur streak brings things down.

Bottle from Gardiners & Haskins, Bristol. Clear amber in colour with a decent white head and moderate carbonation. Aroma of peaches, tangerines, grassy hops and a touch of caramel. Flavour had plenty more fruit, sherbet, a slightly peppery edge and dryish finish. Good.

Cask @ Salhojankadun Pub, Tampere. Rated on 10.12.2011
Aroma is surprisingly light with roastiness and cocoa. Flavour is rather dry with roasted malt and some peat. Dry and roasted finish. Rather nice real ale with rich flavour palette.
