440ml can @ Salopian Bar, Shrewsbury with the TMBB crew before a curry at Cafe Safron. Hazed golden yellow appearance, good white head. Nice tropics and coconut nose. Taste presents good creamy coconut and juicy exotics, sabro emerges well while the juicy citrus contingent follow behind. Very good, as usual from these boyos.

440ml can. Pours a murky golden yellow, huge white head. Aroma of ripe tropical fruits, mango, orange, melon. Taste is sweet, overripe fruits, melon, mango, orange, pineapple, mild pepper spice, low bitterness, finish is dry despite the sweet start - their description is spot on. Can from Stori. Appearance - almost jet black, perhaps just an orange chink or two. Tan head. Nose - a full range of malts here. Toffee, chocolate and something a little smoky too. Taste - smoke, liquorice, charcoal but still underlying chocolate sweetness. Molasses in spades. Palate - medium bodied, plus. Rich but perfectly cleaning roasty finish. Overall - impressed with this one.
