Keg, half pint at the Wrekin Inn on 15th January 2026. Clean and clear bright golden body, white crust on top. Fruity, hoppy and leaning towards citrusy, good bitterness with a mini pine undertone, malt action helps to give balance.

330ml draught at Balthazar, share with Finn. Spotty lacing from a tiny white head, hazy golden body. Moderate smell of orange fruits. Mixed taste profile of ripe orange fruits added by a mid-dry biscuit note. Orange fruity ending with a distant bitter hint. Quite refreshing. Pleasing. (Tromsø, 13.01.2026).

On tap at The Green Goddess, Blackheath Royal Standard. Nose is white grape, kiwifruit, white pepper. Flavours of the above with a spot of grapefruit coming through in the back end. Spicy peppery lightly hoppy aftertaste. Interesting stuff.

Can from Vinomondo, Conwy. Opaque chestnut brown (dark)..Thick foamy beige head with persistent lacing. Aroma... first impressions are herbal with positively (negativity?) dark hued resin (not olfactory-visual synthesisia, I am just poethearted and have access to Google). Followed by praline and malts. Flavourwise we have similarities to the aroma, however it's no carbon copy. There is a bitter-sour mix of herbs, resin and gooseberry but it's not so intense. Sweet caramel provides balance. The flavour does stagger though. There's a washed out element wearing down the foundation: some OG veg action. Light-medium bodied. Slick starting to get stick. Soft carbonation with a lilting fizz. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Decent if slightly faltering.
