5th Oct 2019; hand-pulled half-pint at The Crown Inn, Oakengates, Shropshire. Clear golden pour, decent white head. Hoppy yet malty also, piney and floral more than citrus hop aromas and flavours, although as it warmed in the glass a citrus bite appeared.

23/8/2019. Cask at the 42nd Peterborough Beer Festival. Pours clear bright pale gold with a bubbly white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, grass, hops, malt and flowers. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Nice bitterness to finish. One of the festival high points.

23/8/2019. Cask at the 42nd Peterborough Beer Festival. Pours clear dark brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, coffee, hint of liquorice, lactose and dried fruit. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight creamy texture, soft carbonation. Another nice one from this brewer at the festival.

11/8/2019. Bottle from Connollys Livery Street, Birmingham. Pours clear gold with a small bubbly white head leaving good lacing. Aroma of hops, malt, citrus, lime, orange, biscuit and tropical fruits. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, average carbonation. Mild sweet ginger develops to finish. Nicely done, good all round, and the best of the 9 beers we've sampled tonight.

Cask @ Railwayman's Arms, Bridgnorth after travelling on the Severn Valley Railway to Kidderminster. Pours a misty gold, small white sheet atop. Not much wheat / wit flavours to really warrant the wheat beer tag, much more of a bitter golden ale. Not a lot to it really, was kind of hoping for more of a floral wit character. Oh well.

Cask @ Vinyl Tap, Preston. Clear blonde with a small head. It’s light in the palate with a recognisable pale ale dryish hoppy texture and taste.
