Pours a hazy pale golden color with a medium white head that recedes gradually to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Fruit, yeast and spicy hops in the nose. Medium-bodied with flavors of herbal yeast, stone fruit and spiced hops. Some sweet malt in the background. The finish is fruity up front with a yeast aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Bottle split at #arch thanks to Leighton, 19/06/15. Extremely dark mahogany brown topped with moderately appointed tan spotting. Nose is charr, dark fruit rinds, cocoa nibs, subtle bourbon. Taste comprises dark fruits, liquorice, peppery spice, dark chocolate, molasses. Full bodied, fine carbonation, light warming booze and subtle bourbon edge at the curtain call. Decent enough impy if a little harsh at times, needs a little more finesse for me.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out tart apricots and light funk. Flavour is quite bright, with very tart apricots, sour funk, and light acidity. Not overly complex but the flavours present are very cohesive. Very nice.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy dark amber orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of the chai, with cardamom and some bready caramel malt. Flavour is very chai like, with cardamom, caramel and other spiciness. Actually works pretty well. Wouldn't usually be a fan of this kind of thing, but this is very cohesive. Nice.

750mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Nose brings out decadent, with bourbon barrels, alcohol and light smokiness. Flavour brings out complex smoky whiskey barrels, with alcohol and peat. Quite brutal, but super complex and well-designed. Fantastic stuff.

Bottle thanks to vacax. Pours a cloudy brown color with a medium brown head. A big sweet malty chocolate nose. The flavor is big sweet bourbon, vanilla, chocolate. Huge whiskey.

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours deep brown with a small tan head. The nose is soft, rich, intoxicating, oily, fudge, bounty bar, vanilla, salted caramel, rich roast and wood. The taste is rich, oily, dark chocolate, booze, wood, dark fruits, earth, wood, charred stuff, toasty vanilla, tar, alcohol warmth and some dark/dried fruits with a lingering earthy boost. Full body, fine carbonation and oily mouth-feel. Pretty good stuff. Rich.

Bottle shared in London - picked up in CA back in 2013. Pours clear deep brown with a creamy tan head. The nose has a bit of scorched wood, dark chocolate, burnt toffee. Medium to big sweet flavorbwith rich chocolate, brownies, vanilla. Full bodied, chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish with bittersweet cocoa, some earthy bitterness, toffee. Great stuff, good balance for the strength.

Bottle. Pours a hazy copper with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong chai, spice, nutmeg, lemon tea. Thin mouth, strong spice, cinnamon, chai, lemon tea, boozy, really enjoyed this.
