Description
Everyday Outlaw
The day begins with a promise. A promise we make to ourselves about striving to be the better version of ourselves. A promise we make to think different, be different, and live the #outlawLife.
Being an Outlaw is a state of being. It's unapologetic, decisive, and an instrument of change. It's also self-deprecating with a twinkle in the eye sort of humor. It's the handshake with somebody who is in the know and it's us against the world fist bump. Whether we choose to shake up social norms or do a simple act of kindness for somebody when they need it the most.
We end the day with the same promise. We are here to stay; we will not apologize for what we do. You may see us or choose to ignore us, but be certain that we WILL affect change.
We are Everyday Outlaws.

Cask shared with Drake. Pours a reddish brown appearance with a light brown head. Fair amount of cocoa, earth, and coffee in the nose. Moderate bitterness. Nice coffee presence. Light sweetness. Well balanced. Good.

Bottle from Brent - thanks! Pours opaque black with a medium brown head, creamy with nice lacing. Aroma is roasty, pine, chocolate, ashtray, citrus. Flavor is the same, medium sweet and medium bitter. Full body and creamy; quite far on the stouty side of a BIPA, but a nice one just the same.

Bomber from Brawley’s, 2012 vintage. Pours a clear red color with a medium sized fizzy tan head. Fair head retention. Aroma of cracker malts, bread, spice, herbal notes, almost some piney notes. The taste is toffee malts, spice, pine, dark fruits, a bit of a bright citrus bite and the end. Medium bodied, faint booze, lingering spice and very much like a holiday ale, as they are going for. Nice beer.

A deep dark IPA with a thin creamy brown head. In aroma, smooth chocolate malt over floral hops, lightly doughy. In mouth, loads of resinous floral hops with mercapto-ethanol, light sulfur notes, burned toasts, unbalanced.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a glass. Pours hazy golden with small white head. Little lacing, medium body, low carbonation, and light banana aroma. Taste is some clove, a little banana, and grainy. Not that estery and not one of the better hefeweizens and at $6.50 a bottle I would pass.

Smells of banana and bread yeast. Pours cloudy orange. Carbonation pretty high. Not much head or lacing on pour. Taste slightly sour. Some spruce-like hops. Best part of this is the bottle. Drank at Charlotte airport.
