Piney, resinous, slightly citrusy fruity and grassy, hoppy aroma, caramel and pale malty background, notes of pine, resin, marzipan, a touch of orange, grapefruit, lemon, almond, whiffs of liquorice and rubber. Taste is bitter, resinous, piney and citrusy fruity hoppy, caramel and pale malty backbone with quite some residual sweetness, notes of lemon, grapefruit, some orange, some zesty bitterness, hints of caramel, a touch of almond, some funky undertones; lingering, bitter hoppy finish. Oily texture, smooth, soft and silky, minimally greasy palate, fine, dense, soft, creamy carbonation. Wow! Clear amber beer, big creamy yellowish head, very stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: malty, caramel, grains, a bit fruity, pears, white grapes. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body, a bit creamy texture. Taste: sweet and sugary start, caramel, malty, a bitter touch, fruity notes, nice and rich, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: bitter, grains, caramel, hoppy, a bit resinous, nice stuff, rich, malty, very pleasant amber ale!
